The Matek H743-Mini flight controller is a smaller version of the Matek H743-SLIM controller, which has a 20 x 20mm mounting layout. The controller is equipped with an ultra-fast modern H7 processor running at 480MHz and 1Mb RAM! With a weight of 7 grams and a size of 36 x 28mm, it has a built-in Infineon DPS310 precision barometer, two gyroscopes MPU6000 and ICM20602, MicroSD slot for logging. Just like its larger counterpart, the H743-WING has a CAN BUS port to support the connection of future special CAN bus peripherals. H743-Mini differs from the H743-SLIM with fewer pads and connectors, for example, there is no SPI3 breakout output, reduced the number of PWM outputs from 13 to 11 and the number of UART ports from 7 to 5.5 (1, 2, 4, 6, 7, Rx8), removed connector JST-GH1.25 4pin, but added BEC at 8V.
Matek H743-SLIM works with ArduPilot, BetaFlight firmware and there is already iNAV support from version 3.0.1 (keep an eye on the firmware page for updates).
Starting from V1.5 version ICM42605 is used instead of ICM20602 as a second gyroscope.
The iNAV firmware supports the H743 starting with version 3.0.1
BetaFlight target MATEKH743 is supported starting with version 4.3
If you download the ArduPilot firmware to the controller via the INAV / BetaFlight configurator. A known issue is that the download process hangs at 50% if "full chip erase" is selected. It is highly recommended to use STM32CubeProgrammer to erase the MCU and load the firmware. Official manual from Matek
Crossfire support only exists in the "latest" version 4.1, not in 4.0.x, if you are downloading the "latest" version 4.1, set SERIAL7_PROTOCOL = 23, RSSI_TYPE = 3
Known issue: Motor 7 will not spin with BetaFlight 4.2.x and OCTO X8 mixer if the RPM filter is enabled. Please set dshot_bidir = OFF or use the latest version of BetaFlight 4.3.0.
