Final of drone racing championship UADR Challenge 2019 Stage 5 in Odessa

The final stage of the Ukrainian Drone Racing Championship UADR Challenge 2019 ended on September 27 in the city of Odessa. 2 days of competition were again held at the stadium "Dynamo". The competition was attended by 26 pilots, 8 teams from 7 cities of Ukraine.

Results of the first qualification day for the best flying time of one lap:

The second day, as usual, was dedicated to the flights of TOP-32 on the upper and lower grids of the competition (double elimination system). This year there was no unambiguous leader of the season and each of the TOP-6 pilots of the overall standings could take the lead and become the champion of Ukraine.

But before summarizing the results of the season, let's note the winners of the 5th stage of UADR Challenge in Odessa.

• 1st place - Modest Ach (Zipper Team, Lviv)
• 2nd place - Timur Gerashchentsov (Flymod Squad, Odessa)
• 3rd place - Oleksandr Mazur (QuadRAT, Borispol)
• 4th place - Alexander Podvig (ODR team, Odessa)

And of course the main event of the season was the announcement of the champion of Ukraine in drone racing 2019 and he, for the second year in a row, became FPV pilot Modest Ach from Lviv. He will also go to South Korea for the International Drone Sports Championship 2019 as a member of UADR Team Ukraine.

The full composition of the team at the international competition is as follows:

• Dmytro Faermark - FlyMod Squad - Odessa

In addition to determining the champion in the individual competition, the team that scored more points in the team competition was awarded:
