Selection for IDSC 2019 FPV Championship UADR Challenge 2019 Stage 3 in Oleshki (Kherson)

On June 8-9, as a result of the selection and simultaneously 3 stages of the UADR Challenge drone racing competition, the 3 best pilots got the right to represent Ukraine and the opportunity to compete with the best teams in the world as part of TEAM UKRAINE at the DSI International Drone Sports Championship 2019 on October 10-13 in Korea!

Last year the Ukrainian team was represented at the international competition by pilots Modest Ach, Alexander Mazur and Vyacheslav Gordienko:

The competition took two days, June 8 and 9, and was held in the suburbs of Kherson, near the settlement of Oleshki. The route included both unusual elements like a cube, which you had to fly into from above, and ordinary gates and flags on high-speed sections. On the first day the pilots studied the course and qualified, improving their times. The first day of racing was suddenly in danger of being disrupted by a storm and thunderstorm, but the weather improved and qualifying was completed successfully.

The second day was fully dedicated to the races for the prizes. 22 pilots, 9 teams from 9 cities of Ukraine took part in the qualifying stage for the International Drone Sports Championship 2019.

• 1st place - pilot Alexander Alyoshin, city of Kiev, team NUBZZ Squad
• 2nd place - pilot Dmitry Faermark, city of Odessa, FlyMod Squad team
• 3rd place - pilot Modest Ach, Lviv city, Zipper team.
