BLHeli_S firmware is a more improved code based on the regular BLHeli. It is specifically designed to work with hardware PWM.
BLHeli_S speed controllers work on the basis of hardware PWM with 36KHZ update rate, realizes very smooth and quiet control of the motorless motors, which makes their operation very soft as if on silk.
BLHeli_S have as good motor synchronization as the original BLHeli, and sometimes even better.
In BLHeli_S firmware active braking (damped light) is always enabled by default.
Improved resolution of throttle control. You now have 2048 different throttle level steps, instead of 512 as before.
Supports high speed engines (up to 500k rpm).
Supports 1-2ms signal pulse width, for Oneshot125 (125-250us), Oneshot42 (41.7-83.3us) and for Multishot (5-25us). The mode of operation is selected automatically by the flight controller.
BLHeli_S are flashed and customized as easily and quickly as regular BLHeli.
