FPV racing in Kharkiv UADR Challenge 2018 Stage 2: Kharkiv Cup at Art Factory Mechanika

The 2nd stage of the Ukrainian Drone Racing Championship UADR Challenge 2018 Stage 2 was held in Kharkov on May 19-20 at the Art Factory Mechanika, in the workshops of the former steam locomotive plant.

Kharkov Locomotive Plant was founded in 1896, and in 1957 it was named after V.A. Malyshev. At the moment the Malyshev plant is the key serial plant for the production of tanks, successfully produces and repairs engines, diesel locomotives and tanks.

The competition was held as part of the annual festival HARS 2018, which stands for Kharkiv Retro Sleet. In addition to the exhibition of retro cars and motorcycles, the main theme of the festival was the era of Pin-UP style, which was reflected in the design of stands and the festival program.

Many FPV pilots, as well as Flymod Squad and Zipper Team could not take part in this stage, so all pilots who took part in the competition qualified.
