On November 18-19, the second stage of THE DRONE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE took place in the unique location of Salina Cave in Turda, Romania.
The Salina Turda salt mine was dug in the 16th century at a depth of 120 meters and has now become the world's largest Museum of Salt Mining History. The temperature in the mine is always 11-12 degrees Celsius, and the moist air, soaked in salt ions,
is extremely healing.
Competitions were held at a depth of 100 meters, where there is a large entertainment area with tennis courts, amphitheater and a large Ferris wheel, as well as one of the underground salt lakes.
Thewinner of the second stage of THE DRONE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE was Poshwald Mac (TBS X-Blades team), who showed on his facebook page the video of his best laps in the competition.

Some pilots evaluated the location not only from the air, but also saw the underwater world of this cave. British pilot Gary Kent (TBS X-Blades / Black Sheep Squad) crashed his quadrocopter directly into the salt lake during the competition, and the FPV camera did not stop filming what was happening.
