Description

The Hawkeye Firefly 8S 4K sports action camera is equipped with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX117 sensor and a new Ambarella A12S75 chipset, offering a completely new quality of video recording. Earlier Firefly 6S and 7S models were also equipped with a 12-megapixel Sony sensor, but a different model IMX078 and a different Novatek chipset. The camera comes in two versions with different lenses: a 170-degree FOV model and a version with a 90-degree lens.

Six-axis gyroscopic stabilization creates a very stable video image without loss of angle of view. Excellent video quality and vivid color even in low light conditions. The camera body is made in a rectangular shape of soft-touch plastic, comes with a waterproof case. On the back of the camera is a 2-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 640 x 480. It is also equipped with a removable 1200 mAh battery that allows 1.5 hours of shooting time and 5 hours of standby time. With a USB cable, the camera charges in 2.5 hours.
