Description

The YRRC Smoke Stopper is a self-resetting fuse board that is used when first connecting power to a new quadcopter, to detect a possible short circuit.

Features

• Input Voltage: 1-6S (3 - 30V)
• Operating current: 1.0-2.2A
• Holding current: 0.5-1.1A
• Tripping time: 0.5sec

Recommendations for use

• Green light means everything is OK
• If the green light is dim or blinking, it means that the fuse has tripped.
• Red light means connection error
• Optional 0.5A hold, 1A tripping current or 1.1A hold, 2.2A tripping current
• Turning off the Smoke Stopper for 10 seconds will reset the fuse

Note: Before applying power, we advise you to test the + and - pins of the quadcopter with a multimeter to determine possible polarity reversal. By the time the fuse blows, something could be broken. It does not protect against all possible types of damage.
