The YRRC Smoke Stopper is a self-resetting fuse board that is used when first connecting power to a new quadcopter, to detect a possible short circuit.
Features
Input Voltage: 1-6S (3 - 30V)
Operating current: 1.0-2.2A
Holding current: 0.5-1.1A
Tripping time: 0.5sec
Recommendations for use
Green light means everything is OK
If the green light is dim or blinking, it means that the fuse has tripped.
Red light means connection error
Optional 0.5A hold, 1A tripping current or 1.1A hold, 2.2A tripping current
Turning off the Smoke Stopper for 10 seconds will reset the fuse
Note: Before applying power, we advise you to test the + and - pins of the quadcopter with a multimeter to determine possible polarity reversal. By the time the fuse blows, something could be broken. It does not protect against all possible types of damage.
