UHU Super Glue Supergel is a cyanide acrylate-based, ultra-fast adhesive gel. The glue dries within seconds and is therefore ideal for bonding small surfaces. Due to its more viscous consistency, Supergel does not spread and is suitable for inclined and vertical surfaces. The gel penetrates small cracks and smooths out small irregularities on the surfaces to be bonded.
Glues almost all hard and flexible materials such as ceramics, leather, rubber, many plastics such as PVC, ABS, polystyrene, plexiglass, polycarbonate (Makrolon®) and phenolic resins (Bakelite®), porcelain, metal, wood, cork, felt and fabric (check compatibility beforehand). Ideal for porous materials. Only partially suitable for glass as the bond becomes brittle after a certain period of time, resulting in weakening of the bond.
Not suitable for polyethylene, polypropylene, silicone resins, PTFE, polystyrene foam, fabrics and leather garments.
The bonding process is slower on acidic surfaces (e.g. wood, ceramics, porcelain, leather). The thinner the adhesive layer, the more secure the bond and the faster the adhesive sets. The glue is completely transparent and therefore gives an almost invisible bond.
Withstands short-term exposure to water. The products can also be exposed to a wide range of temperatures: the adhesive can withstand any temperature up to +80°C (low temperatures - virtually unlimited).

Recommendations
Do not use at temperatures below + 10°C. The adhesive responds best to a humidity of 50-70%
Cyanoacrylate adhesives harden very quickly from the presence of moisture (such as air humidity, wet skin, sweat, skin grease, tears). Therefore, care should be taken during use, especially with children and contact with skin and eyes. But even without treatment, cyanoacrylate adhesives will dissolve naturally over time
Instructions
The materials to be glued should be clean, dry and degreased. The best way to achieve this is to wipe the parts several times with a suitable solvent, such as acetone (if it is suitable for the material - check first!). For metals and metal alloys, roughening the surface with sandpaper, sanding or brushing is usually sufficient
To pierce the membrane, place the cap on the tip of the tube and turn it firmly clockwise. Unscrew the cap to open the applicator. Do not press on the tube while piercing it
Apply a thin layer of adhesive directly from the tube, using the nozzle, to one of the surfaces (too much adhesive will slow down the curing process). Quickly join the two surfaces together. Depending on the amount of glue applied and the material, the glue will polymerize within 60 seconds into a synthetic resin and bond the two pieces very firmly together. When gluing in low humidity, the curing time can be shortened by briefly breathing on one of the parts to be assembled. The best bonding results are achieved at room temperature. Major reactive surfaces accelerate the curing of the adhesive, acidic surfaces (e.g. wood, ceramics, porcelain, leather) slow it down
After use, wipe the tip with a dry cloth and cap the tube.
The adhesive joint can be separated by heating up to 180°C, long-term exposure to water or acetone.
In case of skin contact, wash with warm soapy water. In case of contact with eyes or mouth, keep eyes or mouth open and rinse with plenty of water. Seek medical attention if necessary. Due to the fact that cyanoacrylate adhesives give off special vapors, it is recommended that the room be well ventilated when using relatively large quantities. Keep out of the reach of children
Store in a dry, cool, non-freezing place. Storage at temperatures below + 5 °C (in the refrigerator) ensures maximum shelf life.
