Sony US18650 VTC6 is a high-current Japanese battery with a discharge current of up to 30A. They are used in devices that require long runtime and maximum voltage at minimum size.

These cells are often used for custom battery assemblies for long-range flights and other radio models.

The SONY US18650VTC6 Li-ion battery has a life expectancy of at least 350 charge/discharge cycles (until the capacity drops to 80% of rated capacity)

The batteries are made with Lithium Nickel Manganese Cobalt Oxide core technology (LiNiMnCoO2), a type of manganese chemistry that is better suited for long high current applications and is safer.
