Read moreCompact and inexpensive RadioMaster TX12 radio equipment with built-in CC2500 multiprotocol RF chip supporting popular receiver protocols from various manufacturers: Corona, Hitec, Futaba S-FHSS, Frsky D16 / D8 ACCST (LBT or FCC), RadioLink and Graupner HoTT (note that Spektrum protocols are not supported).
Compared to the TX16S, the TX12 does not have the full set of protocols, but it supports the most commonly used ones and has the advantage of a 1dB increase in power over the same chip in a 4-in-1 module. This amounts to about 12% additional range. In addition, RadioMaster TX12 supports the use of external long-range modules TBS Crossfire Micro, FrSky R9M, ELRS, which are connected using a special compartment with a 5-pin JR connector. To use it is necessary to change the priority from internal to external module in the remote control settings.
RadioMaster TX12 is based on OpenTX firmware and supports Companion software for PC.
The RadioMaster TX12 is about two-thirds the size of standard radio equipment, and with a detachable antenna and folding carrying handle, the remote is even more compact and therefore easy to travel with. Despite the smaller size, the equipment has more comfortable sharp sticks for any kind of control. Also RadioMaster TX12 has a black and white LCD display with a resolution of 128 x 64, thoughtful design of the case, aluminum button-wheel navigation menu, folding handle for easy transport.
Another feature of the TX12 is the built-in charger for charging 2S 7.4V Li-ion 18650 cells or Li-Polymer batteries. Simply plug into a USB source with the included cable - the status light will turn red to indicate charging, and turn off when it's finished. The USB-C port can also be used for data transfer with the Companion software or for control in the simulator.
Note: do not turn on radio equipment without the antenna connected!
