Brand: iFlightSKU 13893More and more pilots are showing interest in racing big drones because mini quadcopters are reaching their performance limits, but X-class drones have room to grow. At the moment, large quadcopters are mainly used for aerial photography. They have good payload capacity, but are not designed for the speed or maneuverability needed during races. That's why iFlight has released the iX15 950mm X-CLASS racing frame after six months of development and testing.
The iX15 frame consists of two 3mm thick rigid plates (top and bottom), providing plenty of space for safe mounting of equipment.
The beams and mounting portion of the frame housing are secured with two long M5 Phillips "Power-Lock" bolts and M5 nuts. In addition, two vertical side plates are installed on each beam. This mounting method is not only secure, but also makes it easy to replace and repair the beams. A flexible TPU plastic antenna mount is used at the rear of the housing for easy mounting.
The mounting bolt pattern fits most 41xx ~ 52xx size motors on the market, making motor selection much easier and eliminating the need for a landing adapter. The motor base is securely fixed to the beam with two cross plates.
