The RunCam Racer series has long established itself in world FPV competitions as one of the best analog cameras for FPV racing. But with version 5, Runcam takes it to new heights and the Racer 5 becomes the first FPV camera with abuilt-in gyroscope.
The gyroscope allows the pilot to pinpoint the most comfortable camera angle. The tilt angle is displayed in real time on the camera's flight OSD or on the BetaFlight OSD.
Another new feature is the ability to update the camera firmware via the Speedybee app for Android and iOS. With the Android app, you can use a USB cable to connect your phone to the flight controller. But with iOS you will need a Wi-Fi adapter as iOS does not support OTG connection.
Note: For BetaFlight before version 4.3, first enable the MSP serial port switch. In Betaflight 4.3, select Runcam device, remote control camera + gyro directly. https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/pull/10214
