RunCam 5 is a flagship HD action camera featuring superb 4K image quality and the lightest body in its class. RunCam 5 utilizes a 12-megapixel Sony IMX377 sensor to capture 4:3 video, which can also be upscaled to 16:9 format without loss in quality.

Most action cameras tend to be quite heavy, and weight can be a deciding factor when assembling a quadcopter for filming. The RunCam 5 aims to make the decision much easier, as the camera weighs just 56 grams (almost 20 grams lighter than the GoPro Session 5). The lens is protected by heavy-duty Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the body is made of durable German-made polycarbonate.

The 38x38x36mm body dimensions are identical to the GoPro Session 5, so all 3D printed mounts created for the Session fit the Runcam 5 as well.
