The Matek M9N-5883 module utilizes a GNSS satellite system based on the u-Blox NEO-M9N chip.
The u-Blox NEO-M9N can simultaneously receive and track multiple GNSS systems. Due to the multi-band architecture of the receiver's external interface, all four major GNSS satellite systems: GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou, can be received simultaneously.
Note: The protective plastic case shown in the photo is not included, but a self-printable STL file can be downloaded from the link below.

Recommendations
Wiring:
M9N-5883 5V to flight controller 4 ~ 6V
M9N-5883 RX to flight controller UART_TX
M9N-5883 TX to flight controller UART_RX
M9N-5883 CL to I2C_SCL flight controller
M9N-5883 DA to flight controller I2C_SDA
M9N-5883 G to flight controller GND
Compass alignment (forward arrow and flat mount):
INAV / BetaFlight: 270° clockwise rotation until the flight controller arrow is looking forward again
Ardupilot / Mission Planner: no rotation
Protocol: Ublox or NEMA
Make sure the compass / magnetometer is 10cm away from power wires / ESC / motors / iron based materials.
Scratches on the ceramic antenna are the result of antenna tuning.
NEO-M9N is supported by ArduPilot 4.1 (latest version)
INAV2.5 ublox / ublox7 / NEMA do not support NEO-M9N. M9N is supported by INAV2.6 ublox or ublox7 protocol (both operate at 5Hz)
Betaflight UBLOX protocol does not support NEO-M9N, please select NEMA protocol and auto baud rate.
Action cameras and HD split systems (Gopro, RunCam Split, Caddx Tarsier, etc.) may interfere with the GPS signal, try turning off the camera before 3D fixing the GPS location
The NEO-M9N provides the ability to reset the receiver settings. Shorting the "RST" contact pad to ground for at least 100ms will cause a cold start. RESET will clear all information and initiate a cold start. This function should only be used as a recovery option!
