Read moreGemfan engineers use CATIA and Ansys Fluent modeling software to design the airfoils and propeller blades.
TheGemfan Floppy Proppy F5135 were specifically designed for high-speed racing, but may also be suitable for installation on long-range quadcopters requiring increased efficiency and flight time. The Floppy Proppy's reverse blade design helps reduce vortexing at the end of the blade, and the lightweight nature of the propellers means a lower moment of inertia and quicker response time.
The folding design of the propellers makes the drone easy to transport, and the blades can be folded to prevent bending or breaking in the event of a collision with an obstacle.
Note: When installing the blades on the hub, be sure to follow the instructions in the photo below. All logos must be facing up. Installation in the wrong orientation will cause the propeller to break!
