Description

The FrSky X-Lite radio has two antenna options: an internal antenna and a standard external mount with RP-SMA jack. The RP-SMA jack is recessed from the top inside the body of the radio hardware, making it very specific for connecting an external antenna. But FrSky has produced a special T-shaped antenna for those who want to increase the range of signal transmission.

Switching between the internal and external antenna is done through the OpenTX menu, similar to the external RF source on the Taranis.

Note: To prevent the transmit module from burning out, make sure the external antenna is connected before switching the X-Lite from internal to external antenna.
