Description

Introducing one of the most popular radio control equipment among top FPV pilots - FrSky Taranis RC X9D Plus.

The FrSky Taranis sets new standards of capability. FrSky is well known for its ACCST technology, which allows "frequency hopping" across the entire 2.4GHz frequency range. This system allows you to get excellent range and reliability of the equipment.

The remote has a vibrating Haptic tactile feedback system that provides an alternative feedback system to the existing voice and audio notification. The Plus version also includes a two-color LCD display with screen backlighting that can be adjusted from white to blue. The unit comes with the latest version of firmware to support the new vibrating tactile feedback system.

Note: Checking the transmitter antenna VSWR is no longer available.

Taranis takes advantage of the OPEN TX firmware combined with an incredibly ergonomic housing with 8 programmable switches, two rotary controls and two very smooth side sliders on industrial bearing hinges.

Taranis utilizes convenient voice alerts from the internal speaker, unlike the annoying buzzers on other gear. Voice messages are used for events such as: timer countdown voice announcements, low voltage warnings, landing gear status warnings, etc. Any event can be configured to be voiced, or you can record your own cues. It is possible to turn off the sound notification, so as not to disturb others. There is a slot for SD-card, to store all the necessary data, USB port for firmware updates and headphone output.

One of the best features of Taranis is full telemetry support, as well as feedback on RSSI signal strength. There are 3 different programmable fail-safe and receiver lock modes to avoid crashes if the wrong model is selected. Taranis has a JR type transmitter module slot for installing modules from various manufacturers such as Orange DSM2 / DSMX or Open LRS 433MHz, or other Frsky modules to expand the capabilities of the hardware.

Put it all together and you get unprecedented power and flexibility to use with any type of model.
