Matek CAN-L4-3100 magnetometer is equipped with a high-precision RM3100 sensor, which provides accurate magnetic field measurements with excellent resistance to interference, a wide dynamic range, and a high sampling rate. It features low power consumption of 22 mA when operating within a voltage range of 4.5–5.5 V and guarantees stable measurements across a wide temperature range with no drift. It offers broad compatibility with unmanned systems based on the ArduPilot AP_Periph firmware and transmits data via the CAN interface using the DroneCAN protocol. It also features additional UART2 and UART3 interfaces for connecting external devices with MSP support after appropriate firmware installation. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 36 × 25 × 10 mm and light weight of 6 g, the device can be easily installed in any model.
