Read moreThe SX1308 step-up converter is used to change the output voltage of direct current (DC). The module can also be used as a stabilized power supply for video cameras, LEDs, backlights and other electrical devices.
The module board is based on the SX1308 chip (in boost topology), a trim resistor and other components for correct operation of the voltage converter. The module chip is designed in the "SOT23-6" package. The advantages of this converter are its small size, low heat dissipation and ability to operate from 2V. Due to its small size, the device can be used in portable chargers or other small-sized devices. The efficiency (efficiency factor) of the converter is up to 95%. The maximum load current of the power supply should not exceed 2A. The value of the DC output voltage is regulated by means of a 50 kOhm multi-turn trim resistor.
Power is supplied from the power supply unit or other external power source. The DC input voltage range is from 2 to 24V and the output voltage range is from 5 to 28V. When connecting an external power supply, please note that the value of the input voltage should be lower than the output voltage.
